Boxed stair nosing — common questions
Bring your stair count plus 2 extra planks. For a 12-step staircase, bring 14 planks. We need the extra for machine setup. We'll confirm the exact count after reviewing your order.
No problem. We cut to any length. Just bring us the measurement (tread length in inches) or we measure when you drop off the planks. Most residential treads in Florida are 36″–48″ wide.
Yes. You bring the planks, we fabricate from those same planks. We don't substitute or source a "similar" material — it is your exact floor.
Yes. Fabrication-only is our most popular option. Most contractors and handy homeowners install in 2–3 hours. If you need installation, request it in the quiz and we'll add it to your quote.
It covers workmanship defects — if a nose piece delaminates, the profile cracks, or the cut edge separates under normal residential foot traffic within 1 year of pickup, we'll replace it at no charge. It does not cover damage from installation errors or abnormal use.
