Add-ons
Hardwood flooring

Useful pricing logic before the sales call.

Homeowners search because they want a realistic starting number. This page explains what changes the price so the estimate feels useful instead of vague.

Hardwood flooring

Natural hardwood

Best when real wood character, warmth, and long-term premium feel matter most and the environment fits the material.

Hardwood flooring

Engineered hardwood

A real-wood surface over a layered core can be a balanced choice for many Florida interiors.

Hardwood flooring

LVP alternative

LVP gives many homeowners a practical wood-look floor with lower maintenance and a lower material starting point.

Estimate FAQ

Answers before you book an in-home measurement.

The calculator is meant to educate first, then help FIR confirm the real project conditions in person.

Is the quick estimate a final quote?

No. It is a realistic starting range. Final pricing depends on measurement, material selection, floor prep, removal, transitions, baseboards, stairs, delivery, and project conditions.

Can FIR quote labor only?

Yes. If you already have flooring, FIR can discuss labor-only installation. The estimate still needs to check material suitability, transitions, trims, waste factor, and prep.

Can I include stairs?

Yes. Select stairs in the calculator or choose a stair-only estimate. Standard box stairs have a starting offer when the active stair promotion applies.

What happens after I submit?

FIR reviews your project details, confirms the service area, and schedules an in-home measurement so the final estimate is based on real conditions.

Free photo estimate

Send the stairs, rooms, or material colors you are considering.

FIR can review photos, step count, square footage, project city, and material direction before the in-home estimate so the first conversation is sharper.
